The development of China's textile industry will present three major characteristics in 2017

At present, China's textile industry has entered the New Normal of slowing growth. The relevant person in charge of the China Textile Industry Federation pointed out to reporters on the 4th that the current development is mainly characterized by three main characteristics: slow growth rate, increased development pressure, and urgent power conversion.
In 2014, there were some new changes in China's textile industry, and the overall market environment was not ideal. The economic growth of the industry was stable and slowing down, and the main economic growth indicators of enterprises above designated size had decreased to single digit growth, resulting in significant operational pressure for enterprises. In addition, China's textile and clothing imports and exports experienced negative growth in the first month of 2015.
The relevant person in charge of the China Textile Industry Federation pointed out that all the above shows that China's textile industry has entered the New Normal of development.
Firstly, the growth rate of China's textile industry has slowed down, with progress in progress. The Chinese textile industry, as a consumer goods industry, is closely related to the country's macroeconomic development. As China's economic growth slows down, it will ultimately affect the industry's demand growth. Under the New Normal, the textile industry has moved from high growth to medium growth.
Secondly, the pressure on development is increasing and differentiation is accelerating. Under the New Normal, the overall operation and development pressure of China's textile industry has increased, and textile enterprises, regardless of size, generally feel more difficult to survive. The reasons for this include relatively weak demand growth, intensified resource and environmental constraints, rising factor costs, accelerated changes in terminal demand with personalization and differentiation as the mainstream, as well as micro market factors such as phased and structural overcapacity in some industries. The most important reason is that the original production model is difficult to sustain, while new models are still being explored and formed. Therefore, under the New Normal, the survival of the fittest textile enterprises will intensify.
Finally, there is an urgent need for power conversion and key innovation. Under the New Normal, the core of the development of China's textile industry is to promote transformation and upgrading, change the dependence on investment driven and factor driven, and turn to rely on technology, brand, management, system, mechanism and business model innovation to promote the development of the entire industry.
Industry experts emphasize that as a necessity, the market demand for Chinese textiles is still rigid, and it is expected that the sales growth rate in 2015 is expected to be the same as last year.
